    Mutually Empowering Rhizome

    http://dante.ecobytes.net/ 2008/ 07/ 19/ mutually-empowering-rhizome/

    Market Day Giveaway

    http://adventuresinmultiplicity.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 07/ market-day-giveaway.html

I haven't had many chances to go to the farmers market this summer. I was too busy, and then gone on my trip. Last week I took my mentee and her little sister. This is what I'm missing out on, not having kids. It was so much easier with them there. They pulled my rolling crate.

    One reason DICOM succeeded

    http://fairhaven.typepad.com/ my_weblog/ 2008/ 05/ one-reason-dico.html

DICOM is now a highly successful standard, and I occasionally think about why this is. I was first involved in 1991, and have been involved on and off ever since. It is different from most standards in that participants tend to be highly pragmatic, and willing to compromise for the sake of making things work.
