Girlfriends — who’d have them? They take forever to get ready to go out. They talk a lot. And they always leave the toilet seat down.

But then again, in the infamous words of the Blues Brothers, "It's so important to have that special somebody. To hold, kiss, miss, squeeze and please."

Alas, it's still tempting to think that the grass is always greener.

If you are already in a relationship, and it's going well, your girlfriend may begin to start thinking about not wanting to be your girlfriend anymore. Instead, she's going to start thinking about wanting to be your wife. For a lot of men this is a scary thought. Especially for those men with commitment issues.

If you have a girlfriend, you tend to miss the freedom of being single. But the upside of being single soon seems to wear off and you start looking for one of two types of sites — including blogs featuring guides on how to get your ex-girlfriend back, and blogs focusing on how to get a girlfriend.
