We set goals to give us direction for our lives. Our goals are like stepping stones leading to life success. Sometimes our goals are so important to us that they shape our life purpose. People want successful lives, but without setting goals, their successes will be random and by default.

Scoring goals or other game points produce success in sports. More broadly, we seek to score on the goals we set for our professional and personal lives. Commonly, individuals want a happy life. For many, a vision of life happiness includes reaching the goals of a great marriage or relationship, a family with terrific kids, along with the good fortune of being healthy and financially stable — maybe a six-figure income. But how do we reach our goals? A goal without a plan of action takes us nowhere.

Bloggers offer and seek tips and tricks online to achieve a variety of goals. Experts advise on ways to increase marital satisfaction and intimacy, improve family and parenting, buy a better product, and enhance business success. An increasingly popular way to reach goals is to hire a business or a personal coach through an online site.
