google buzz

Google Buzz is designed to incorporate in Google’s Gmail. The main function of Google buzz is to serve as a messaging and social networking tool, wherein users can share videos, comments, links, photos and status message.

It was commenced on February 9, 2010 by Google for the first group of users and after a few weeks, this feature has become available to other Gmail users.

This feature has also a mobile version. However, it is limited to devices like Windows Mobile, S60, Android 1.6+, iPhone/iPod Touch and Openwave.

Sharing of posts can either be showed publicly or in confidence to only a certain set of friends.

Just after 2 days of Google Buzz’ release, users had already made 9 million posts.
