    Chavs……

    http://speshul.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 06/ 04/ itssaid-char-va/

……They ain’t new!    Alright, so before Michael Carroll won £9.7 million quid on the lottery and spunked it all in on crack, smashed in cars and a mangy horse called ‘ King of Chavs ’ No one had ever heard of a chav, unless you were brought up in Newcastle and the name was actually chava.

Me? I like a whippet stottie.

Some of us complain about regional stereotypes.  Others just reaffirm them. From today’s Sunderland Echo: Pizza, chips, kebab, pasty - YOU DECIDE! You’ve been to the match, you’ve had a couple of beers and you’re on your way home… But what do you stuff your face with before you stagger through the door and get told off by the missus?

    If I Worked For…

    http://laralu.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 06/ 01/ if-i-worked-for/

Greggs - I’d start by changing the so 90’s “It’s all about me in plain HTML” website that looks very old and outdated and instead focus it on what my business is all about, aka food. http://adamsnotebook.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 29/ greggs-the-what/

What do you think of when you think of a bakery? Warm, fresh baked goods, like bread, cakes and sausage rolls? What colours would you associate with a bakery? I’m guessing this will depend on the person, but when I think of a bakery I envisage warm colours like shades of dark red, brown, and gold.

    Is it Warm?

    http://www7.ferretsrule.net/ conn/ 2008/ 05/ is-it-warm.html

When I visit Greggs at lunchtime I will only buy something if it is warm (I do not like cold food) this results in my daily questioning of the staff - 'Is the french bread pizza warm?' most often the reply is 'no' to which I can only reply 'OK, I'll have a sugar ring doughnut please...' 23rd May

Do some people really run out of gas all the time??

    http://avenuestosold.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ do-some-people-really-run-out-of-ga…

Something unusual happened to us yesterday. It illustrates how high gas prices are affecting the lives of all of us on an individual level. Jeff and I, along with our four-year-old daughter, Katie, enjoyed a pleasant day in Rhode Island yesterday visiting Roger Williams Park Zoo.
