hair care
Hair follicles are shafts of protein that can live four or five years before failing out and becoming replaced by another strand. The average hair growth is about a half an inch per month. The hair is 90% a-keratin and 10% water and when dry can be very strong and loss of moisture can cause split ends. Cold water rinsing can improve the shine level for hair. Hair is extremely sensitive to the environment, nutrition and stress levels of the individual. Smoking, coloring the hair, crash diets and stress levels all create problems for hair quality and texture and can ultimately lead to hair loss.
Hair care blogs will include tips and techniques for hair care. Homemade beauty treatments, product suggestions and new trends in hair care are popular topics for blogs on hair care. The Hair Parlor blog focuses on hair damage, beauty tips and vitamin and nutrients information.
