halloween party

Celebrated on October 31st of each year, Halloween, sometimes referred to as ‘all hallows eve’ has its roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain. It is therefore traditionally a party to mark the end of the harvest season and summer.

However some religions believe it to have religious undertones regarding the devil, therefore for the most part Halloween parties are occasions when people dress up in costumes depicting scary mythical creatures, Werewolves, Vampires, Ghosts and Ghouls of all kinds and some people have a tradition of watching scary movies with friends on this night also. Thankfully it is all done in the name of fun.

The blog spots found when searching under this heading are mostly selling everything to do with hosting a Halloween party. The Halloween blog also includes stories about parties attended, ideas for hosting parties along with information on costumes and decorations for the party.
