Stephen Baker is breaking new ground as he collaborates live on Twitter to develop an article on BusinessWeek about the business value of microblogging. While there may have been other bloggers that have collaborated on Twitter to develop a story, they weren’t done by “traditional” media brands like BusinessWeek.

This will be the first in a series of posts about the pending release of our complete rewrite of Hashtags. Why did we rewrite it? Simple, it started out as an experiment and the traffic has grown. What start out as a thought experiment with two people now has a team of four behind it.

Despite my vehement aversion to being up before noon on any weekend day, I am very very fired up for the NH Media Makers event this Sunday. It will be held at Crackskulls book store, coffee haus and cozy nook. I look forward to meeting a lot of folks I’ve been tweeting back and forth with for the last couple months.

This plugin is totally an experiment inspired in part by @techcrunch, and in part by how useful I have found some of this stuff to be on @Twitter, and also just to see the different ways one can use Wordpress. (Update: this plugin seem to only work on WP2.5, so I've upgraded.) If you haven't guessed already, you soon will.

In web terms it’s been a relatively short period of time since twitter came onto the scene and the conversation is still in full swing as people discover how twitter works for them. I’ve been tweeting since March and as I said in a previous post I’ve discovered where twitter fits in for me.
