Health treatment is a wide subject matter, covering topics from a healthy lifestyle and mental or physical health treatment, to alternative treatment or even anti-aging health treatment.

The cost of health treatment can also vary considerably. Private healthcare, depending on the benefits, is expensive and affordable only to the middle and high income groups. Around 84.7% of citizens have some form of health insurance leaving 45.7 million without. US law requires virtually all hospitals to accept patients, regardless of ability to pay for ER care while federally funded programs do cover some 27.8% of the population including the elderly, disabled, children, veterans and some of the poor. But the US is the only wealthy, industrialized nation that does not ensure that all citizens have some kind of health insurance. Some cosmetic fixes such as hair loss treatment and cosmetic surgery are not covered in this insurance.
