American singer and television personality Heidi Montag Pratt was born on September 15, 1986 in Crested Butte, Colorado.


Heidi Montag moved to California upon graduating from high school where she enrolled at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. The move proved to a fateful decision, since it was there where she befriended television personality Lauren Conrad.

The association with her future nemesis landed Heidi Montag on a few episodes of the popular MTV reality series Laguna Beach, and eventual featured role on that show’s spin off, The Hills alongside Audrina Patridge. The Hills proved to be a ratings Juggernaut and Heidi Montag relished in her new found stardom.


Heidi Montag married her The Hills costar Spencer Pratt on November 20, 2008 in Mexico and then once more on April 25, 2009 in Pasadena, California. The couple soon became notorious for their shameless publicity stunts, which proved to be nothing more than tabloid fodder designed to attract attention from gossip magazines and websites alike.

In the summer of 2009, Montag signed on to appear on the reality series I'm a Celebrity...Get Me out of Here!
