Tag details

High speed simply means to operate or move at a high rate of speed, or a higher than normal speed.

Commonly, the term high speed, in this case synonymous to broadband, is used when referring to high speed internet. High speed data transmission, at one time, was defined as transfer rates in excess of 9.6 Kb/s.

High Speed is also the name of Steve Ritchie's pinball game that he designed in 1986. The game was released by Williams Electronics. The pinball game was based on the actual events of Steve being chased in a 1979 Porsche 928 by police.
