A capacity crowd filled every nook and cranny inside the narrow space, and tattered rock ’n’ roll posters looked down from the dark walls.

Demonstrators who picketed the new John Varvatos boutique on the Bowery last week plan a second wave of protests tonight, as the fashion designer celebrates the store's grand opening with a splashy charity concert. The shop is located on the site of the former legendary rock club CBGB, which shuttered in 2006 after a lengthly rent dispute with its landlord.

I love a man in a good t-shirt, but it needs to be a sharp or simple brand with no trendy crap, perverse sayings or jewels on them. That is why I particularly like CBGB. With their masculine logo and interesting history I fully recommend the clothing. CBGB isn’t just a clothing brand though.
