The Saint Peter Cathedral in Regensburg, Germany...photo by EuroangelThe Dom (Cathedral) is a very interesting example of pure German Gothic and counts as the main work of Gothic architecture in Bavaria. It was founded in 1275 and completed in 1634, with the exception of the towers, which were finished in 1869.

I love offbeat and quirky kinds of places – for just the reasons that they are offbeat and quirky.  I’ve even been known to drive out of my way to see the “biggest,” “smallest,” “world’s only,” “oldest” thing or whatever.

    Berching in Bavaria,Germany

    http://www.euroangelsgermany.com/ 2008/ 08/ berching-in-bavariagermany.html

I went to this place with my husband last April, 2008. One thing I really admired about Germany is how they preserved their history, old buildings like churches and museums, culture and traditions and a lot more..Berching is also also called an eight-gated city..In fact this city is surrounded by walls....It's really amazing how you can see the remnants of history in this place...

Visit Musi 2008: South Sumatra The tourism business in South Sumatra has been sluggish for years. In fact, the province is rich in culture and historical sites.

Safed (pronounced Tzfat in Hebrew) is a city in the Northern District of Israel and it is one of Judaism’s Four Holy Cities, along with Jerusalem, Tiberias and Hebron. Safed is the birth town of Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism) and still is a center for Kabbalah students and followers.
