Home Depot was founded in 1978 by Arthur Blank and Bernie Marcus. They, along with Ken Langone and Pat Farrah, wanted to offer a one-stop shop for people who are do-it-yourself types. In 1979, Home Depot opened its first two retail stores, 60,000 square feet each, in Atlanta, Georgia. Since then, Home Depot's growth has continued at a rapid pace.

As of 2008, Home Depot has approximately 2,000 stores, averaging over 100,000 square feet in size, and can be found in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Guam.

Home Depot is currently headquartered in Vinings, Georgia.

  Headstock decals are a touchy subject here due to copyright and legal issues so this thread will probably be closed. Anyway, aftermarket neck makers will not install a Fender decal for the same reasons. You can make your own or search fleabay.
