    Moody Motorcyle

Human Highway is a two man band formed by Islands frontman Nick Thornburn. Ex Islands band mate Jim Guthrie rounds out the lineup. My research staff, which consists of me, didn't have time to confirm this...but I imagine that they culled their name from the Neil Young song of the same name...so I like them already.

I don't know if Jim Guthrie and Nick Thorburn took the name for their collaboration from Neil Young's Human Highway movie, but there are some definite parallels between Human Highway the band and the movie of the same name.

The quality of a musical collaboration is determined by the interplay of two factors — the unique elements each artist brings to the table and the extent to which they are able to work together to find a middle ground. Nick Thorburn and Jim Guthrie’s Human Highway excels on both fronts.
