What is iMedix? iMedix is a free community website where you can find and share health information. iMedix has a large community of members that can help you with questions you have. You don’t have to be afraid or confused about your medical condition. Find similar people who you can share information with.

Innovation is coming out of Israel all the time, but we often only hear on the startups that “made it” in one way or another: those that got funded by Accel, those that signed deals with Linkedin or got acquired by IBM. The truth is that most startups don’t make it.

So not too long ago I caught this miserable flu and went on this social orientated website called iMedix.com, and shared and found out why I got sick. Its Free to join. There are 2, just two reasons why someone becomes sick 1. They, you “catch” something.

The internet has brought forth many great things. One thing that it has helped in many ways is the flow of information of health affairs. Before you would have to thumb through encyclopedias, medical dictionaries, make phone calls and doctor visits if you needed to know something concerning your health.

I am very excited as I type this. I will be deferring the supposed post for today, Media In Medicine: Sprinkle Some Imagination, for later. Alternately in some of the days to come, I will be posting about some interesting proponents of media in medicine. I have written about them here at some point.
