internet access
Internet access refers to a service allowing users access to the World Wide Web.
Individuals, families and businesses can setup an account at a local Internet Service Provider (or ISP) in order to get access to the Internet.
Internet Service Providers, besides offering Internet connectivity service, generally will provider the hardware (modem, cables and routers) in order to connect and share Internet access. They may also provide web hosting and email addresses.
Different types of Internet access include satellite Internet, cable internet, dial-up Internet and DSL. The majority of connection types these days involve broadband, or high speed, Internet access.
You'll find bloggers talking about Internet access at sites like Broadband Wireless Internet News and InternetProvider.net.
