So you have a great idea and you have some interesting content written up on your web site about your idea.

Great.

But that will only get you so far. See, you could fill Yankee Stadium with all the people who have created great web sites but have little or no traffic to those sites. With over 100 million websites out there in Cyberspace today, how do you get people to come to your website? Before you run your website up the flagpole and see who salutes, you need to make sure you have an audience.

Traffic.

Why do mediocre websites get tons of traffic and hits when other great web sites get almost no hits? It is spectacularly unfair, to be sure. But the fact remains that the better you advertise your website the more internet traffic you are going to get.

You must ask yourself, "How do I get traffic to my web site?" Because, let's face it, people who don't get to experience your web site are going to be the poorer for it, right? Bloggers speaking about internet traffic can be found at sites like zdnet and netwoozy.
