Canadians are upset about the high prices of the new iPhone 3G and what will they do to bring down the prices? They are going to boycott iPhone 3G phones until the telecom companies bring down the price. What do I think? It’s a great idea as I have been guilty of boycotting iPhone for the last 2 years or so.

The user-accessible screws on the new iPhone 3G might be an indication of user-changeable batteries. (although we highly doubt Apple would do that) As previously noted, Apple’s new “guided tour” of the iPhone 3G demonstrates operation of the AppStore and a slew of already-detailed functionality.

What seemed to be a fanciful idea or pipe dream from the last week or so (at least to my knowledge) has actually become reality… if you just happen to live in Bulgaria or Taiwan that is. We proudly introduce to the world what probably is the most senseful hardware solution for a Mac™ on a PC experience.

I’m interested in changing to another wireless provider. While I’m very content with the service I have (considering I only use my cellphone for emergencies) I would still like to hop on the train with a monthly bill instead of prepaid. Doing this will take care of a few things.

Slashdot has a post talking about an official iPhone app (iCall) that will let you switch from the GSM network to WiFi/VoIP and back without losing the connection. Sorry, it’s only for the iPhone 2.0 so all you lazy bums who are unwilling to be bent over the counter by AT&T are going to have to suffer.

Here’s a bejeweled jewel for the taking. It’s a new 3G iPhone model that’s draped in 24 carat gold. It has the Apple logo that’s dressed with 53 white diamonds that total up to 0.36 carat in weight. The back of the phone will probably be made of metal and the phone itself will be predominantly black and gold in color.

Google Talk is now available for the iPhone without any modifications other than pointing your Safari browser to www.google.com/talk. There are some differences from using Google Talk on your computer. For instance, in order to receive instant messages with Google Talk on your iPhone, the application needs to be open in your Safari browser.
