After the success of UFO Pictures’ independent film Endo, young actor Jason Abalos will soon be seen again in another independent film; this time under the direction of Direk Quark Henares. He will be playing the male lead character of Odie in the movie Rakenrol, who happens to be a bass player for a rock band named Hapipaks.

I only found out today that Endo (2007) won some awards from the Young Critics Circle Film Desk: Best Achievement in Film Editing, Best Achievement in Sound and Aural Orchestration, and Best Performance by Male or Female, Adult or Child, Individual or Ensemble in Leading or Supporting Role which was awarded to Jason Abalos.

  I saw the DVD of the indie film Umaaraw, Umuulan in Astrovision some weeks ago. The cover looked simple with only Ryan Agoncillo drenched in the rain and holding a book over his head but he looked absolutely hot and all so I started looking for it online.

That's it, I'm dragging some officemates out of here to watch Endo before it completely disappears from the SM Cinemas. This movie's actually showing in three cinemas left: SM Sta. Mesa, Glorietta 4 and Gateway. The latter's too far and there's a rally in Makati. The choice is made then.
