American actress Jessica Alba was born on April 28, 1981, in Pomona, California. After big-screen roles in Never Been Kissed (1999) and Idle Hands (1999), Jessica Alba got her big break when she was cast as the title role in James Cameron's sci-fi TV series Dark Angel. Starring roles in movies like Honey (2003), Fantastic Four (2005) and Into The Blue (2005) would soon follow, helping to further cement her role as one of Hollywood's hottest young actresses.
2006 was one filled with accolades, not for Jessica Alba's acting talents but more for her undeniable beauty. She appeared on the cover of the March 2006 issue of Playboy magazine after the publication used a promo shot without her consent. Alba pressed and later dropped charges after receiving a personal apology from Hugh Hefner who agreed to donate money to two of her favorite charities as retribution.
