I came across this site when I was stumbling, and it cracked me up! “The US government has a website, http://www.ready.gov.  It’s another attempt at scare mongering in the style of the old “duck and cover” advice after WWII. The fun thing is that these pictures are so ambiguous they could mean anything!  Here are a few interpretations below.

That's certainly the feeling engendered by this site. Apparently, by my age, Alexander the Great had conquered the world, and Malthus had written his essay on population. Me, I'm just a teacher. Could be worse though, I could be having some of the problems of people on this site!
