Actress Kate Beckinsale was born on July 26, 1973, in London, has appeared in more than 30 movies, and was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2005 for The Aviator as part of the cast that was nominated for Outstanding Performance in a Motion Picture. She is also known for recent roles in Van Helsing, Underworld, Click, and Pearl Harbor, parts that didn't earn her any major nominations, unless you count the Razzie she and Ben Affleck were up for as "Worst Screen Couple" for Pearl Harbor.

She is considered one of the most beautiful women acting in the movies today. But her career took a dramatic turn in her 2007 vehicle, Snow Angels.

She married her Underworld director, Len Wiseman, on May 9, 2004, and has one daughter, Lily Mo Sheen (born January 31, 1999), from a previous marriage.
