kiwifruit
Kiwifruit is a highly editable vine berry made popular by New Zealand farmers though now produced throughout the world. Kiwifruit are oval, about the size of a large hen's egg and has a fibrous, dull brown-green skin and bright green or golden flesh with rows of small, black, edible seeds. It is the key ingredient in a number of cocktails including Cocktail al Kiwi from Italy.
Kiwifruit is often referred to colloquially as "kiwi" in many parts of the world. To avoid confusion with the kiwi bird and the people, the fruit is always called "kiwifruit" in New Zealand and Australia.
The Kiwifruit has inspired many blogs such as Kiwifruit the Blog.
