American singer and songwriter Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (better known as Lady Gaga) was born on March 28, 1986 in Yonkers, New York. Her debut album The Fame was released on April 19, 2008 and includes the hit singles "Just Dance," "Poker Face" and "LoveGame."

Lada Gaga was originally signed by Def Jam records when she was just 19 years-old, however she was unceremoniously dropped 3 months later. She would later go on to sign with her current label, Interscope, in early 2008.

Having collaborated with such industry heavyweights as: Akon, Britney Spears, Fergie, The Pussycat Dolls and The New Kids On The Block, Lady Gaga has quickly established herself as a dance music queen with a keen ear for melody and a knack for spotting a great hook.

Lady Gaga is notorious for her outlandish stage costumes and provocative style. She credits her mother for helping to shape her love of fashion.
