The Lamborghini Gallardo was first built in 2003 and continues to be one of the most coveted automobiles in the world.

The Lamborghini Gallardo has had several variations on the roads since its inception, including the Gallardo Spyder, the SE, the Nera, the Superleggera, the LP560-4, and the MOMO. Of all the models that Lamborghini produces, the Gallardo is the only one that currently does not come with what are commonly known as "scissor doors." These are doors which open up vertically from hinges that are situated near the windshield.

Lamborghini's headquarters are in the town of Sant'Agata Bolognese, near Bologna, Italy. The 2009 price tag for the Lamborghini Gallardo is in the neighborhood of $200,000.
