Lawyers or Attorneys are the advocates, advisors and occasionally the interpreters of the legal system. Since the law affects everything from the constitution to consumers and contracts (purchases, contract disputes), criminal justice (felonies and misdemeanors) domestic disputes (marriage, divorce and child custody law) and traffic regulation, the areas of legal specialization have increased over the years. Legal specialization for lawyers may include environmental lawyers, real estate lawyers, corporate tax lawyers and traffic ticket lawyers.

Becoming a lawyer takes 7 years of study beyond high school, 4 years of undergraduate degree study and 3 years of law school. Law school can be very competitive for admission requirements.

Blogs for Lawyers include shared law sites where lawyers can share lessons learned, case law and precedents used on a blog board format. The site includes recent legal findings and court rulings on cases.
