How The Fluent Self Got Its Spots

    http://www.fluentself.com/ blog/ biggification/ how-not-to-name-your-business/

(Or: how not to name your business) I made the somewhat rash promise yesterday that I’d tell you all about how The Fluent Self came to be called The Fluent Self. Pravs World: No One Is Beat

    http://pravstalk.com/ 2008/ 09/ 14/ pravs-world-no-one-is-beat/

No One Is Beat No one is beat till he quits, No one is through till he stops, No matter how hard failure hits, No matter how often he drops, A fellow’s not down till he lies in the dust and refuses to rise. Fate can slam him and bang him around, And batter his frame till he’s sore, But she never can say that he’s downed While he bobs up serenely for more.

Life Is A Bright Sky Life is like a bright sky; and clouds represent instances of unhappy times. Sometimes the clouds are so dark; It’s hard to remember the sun still shines. Be patient. The light will return. It’s just waiting for an opportunity to peek through.

    My thought for the weekend

    http://www.justbcoz.co.za/ headspace/ 2008/ 08/ 30/ my-thought-for-the-weekend/

Push yourself You can coast and you can do fine. But over time this will make you stale and tired. You’ll lose your edge. You perform at your best when you’re tested. So, if you’re good at what you do, if you almost do it blind-folded, stop. Walk away. Raise the stakes.

    http://www.stacyblackman.com/ 2008/ 08/ 05/ tuesday-tips-michigan-ross-essay-tip…
