British pop sensation Lily Rose Allen was born on May 2, 1985, in London, England. The daughter of comedian Keith Allen, Lily inherited both her father’s legendary sense of wit as well as his penchant for questioning authority.

Lily Allen was signed to Regal Records in 2004 and gained international notoriety after uploading a preview sampling of her music to the popular social networking site MySpace. The result was nothing short of astounding as she soon had more than 1 million people streaming her music across the world.

It's safe to say that Lily's debut album Alright, Still (2006), lived up to the public’s lofty expectations, selling more than 2.5 million copies worldwide and spawning hit singles "Smile," "Alfie," "LDN" and the Mark Ronson produced "Littlest Things" (for which he won a Grammy award). Her sophomore album, It's Not Me, It's You was released in early 2009, and includes popular songs like "The Fear" and "Not Fair."

Due in large part to her outspokenness and fiery personality, Lily has been the subject of many controversies, including high-profile spats with fellow musicians Kylie Minogue and Amy Winehouse.
