lists

Lists are yet another tool used for internet marketing to spread the word and sell products and services to target audiences. E-mail marketing lists are typically built by bloggers using an opt-in to give away free information in exchange for an email address. Lists are used to build relationships with potential buyers building trust over time making them much more likely buyers in the future.

A targeted list is a much more effective way to market products and services rather than marketing blindly to all users on the internet. Social networking sites like Plaxo also allow users to group their network into lists in order to send out more targeted messages to the people who may be interested in particular information while sparing everyone else from what they might consider spam.

There is even very specific software to increase traffic on websites that not only runs campaigns for lists but also offers complete instruction and training for marketing. If you send out too many aggressive sales letters you risk netting more unsubscribers than sales making your list disappear quickly.
