For decades companies have relied upon logos, the icon images created in logo design to strengthen their brand. The logo design is an essential element to the overall look, vision and image of a company. In many cases, the logo has taken on a life of its own; such as Nike, McDonalds and Coca Cola. Marketing professionals believe logo design is an important ingredient in the branded concept of the company, it makes for a finished and polished professional brand. The logo design should create an iconic representation of the company that projects the image desired. A fast moving company should have a logo design that represents the forward nature of the company; and so on.
