This year’s Doodle 4 Google art competition invited students in grades K-12 across the U.S. to redesign the Google logo around the theme “What if…?”. State finalists and 40 regional winners are announced and its time for the public voting to find the best Google Doodle which will feature on the Google homepage on May 22, 2008!

Google logo looks pretty different from other days because the logo representing different colors of light. I was pretty confused after seeing the lights. The logo represents the invention of the first laser. A laser is an electronic-optical device that emits coherent light radiation.

Google Friend Connect is a new option which allows the site possessors grow traffic easily by adding the social feature to your website. Using few snippets of code the user can able to engage people deeply with site.

Logo Competition Guidelines April 20th, 2008 The present banner heading in red I knocked up in Photoshop in a few minutes - just to get something there at the top of the screen. I used this colour in order to get attention. We need a redesign of this banner 975 x 115 pixels (the height can be a little flexible if necessary to accommodate the font).

Logo Competition April 20th, 2008 We have just launched our newest website www.news-splash.com It is a website with the latest and breaking news geared to all the IT industry. We are running a contest for development of our logo. The best designed logo chosen for our website will have FREE advertising on our site for a period of 1 year.

We need a new symbol for the all-volunteer organization, dataportability.org, since the existing one looks too much like Red Hat’s. So head on over to the voting site and pick your favorite.  All submissions were terrific, so it was tough for the judges to whittle it down to the few you’ll see on the site.  And they are great, too.
