Who can even give a second thought to owning luxury real estate besides the wealthy? For most folks it is a fanciful daydream. Luxury real estate includes beach property or lots and lots of acreage with a mansion built on it. You know the type — the kind that looks like an expensive hotel that includes all of the amenities like a basketball court, tennis court, racquetball court, a huge swimming pool, and other things that make your head swim.

Fortunately for those in a stable financial position, a down economy that features a popped real estate bubble can be a real opportunity for them to take advantage of and begin pursuing their dreams of owning luxury real estate. Even some of the rich and famous (or maybe still somewhat rich with their fame still intact) lived beyond their means and are putting their beautiful homes up for sale for much cheaper than might be realized.


Luxury real estate can be had for building vacation resorts and time shares on as well. A savvy investor who can time the market has a real edge.
