Remember not all that long ago when just about every computer notebook manufacturer was having problems with batteries -- like catching on fire! Now we have battery problems with cell phones! Apple is blaming a problem its problem with overheating iPods in Japan on faulty batteries.

Apple's iPhone 3G in Turkey

Apple announced today it has reached an agreement with Turkcell to provide iPhone 3G service to its 35 million subscribers. Apple already had an arrangement with Vodafone to sell/distribute the iPhone in Turkey. Turkey is not on the list of 20 countries Apple is rolling out the iPhone 3G this week, but according to MacWorld expect it real soon.

Getting the jump on rumor jumps, the word on the Apple street right now is Apple may be introducing a new line of Cinema Displays when Macworld 09 takes place. The displays would feature the back-lit LED technology the the new MacBooks employ. Really, this isn't so much a rumor as it is "makes sense".
