What happened to The Malaysian Idol Ah? Bankrupt liao ah? We had what? 2 Malaysian Idols? That’s it? The last time I heard, they want to organise the World Idol or something? Now even Malaysian Idol also cannot afford. I think there was some issues with the copyright fees or something. In a way, good also lah.

Well well I got my first ‘hate’ comment from a certain “passerby” for this Hady post. Sorry I couldn’t approve the comment–too profane. Essentially, what “passerby” wrote was that Hady Mirza made Singapore very proud and that I shouldn’t have called Hady the worst singer because “passerby” doubts my own singing talent and therefore, I was not fit to criticize Hady.

Hady Mirza was voted the first Asian Idol on Sunday and a result that no doubt shocked many. Imho Hady was the worst singer. The concensus was clearly for Mike of Indonesia to win. The judge from Philippines commented that Mike’s voice makes people fall in love and my family and I couldn’t agree more.

Singapore Idol Hady Mirza bested 5 other idols from Asia to bag the crown as the 1st Asian Idol. The Asian Idol competition featured winners of the American Idol spinoffs from six Asian countries consisting of India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam.

Singapore Idol, Hady Mirza, has just bagged the honor of being the very first Asian Idol after competing with other five “idols” from different parts of Asia. I really didn’t expect that he’ll win considering the fact that he came from a small country with a very small population, but I believe his appeal (as compared to other contestant) really helped a lot.
