Male pattern baldness is one of the most common types of baldness. After all, it would be highly unusual to wake up one morning with no hair at all, unless you were Samson and your wife was Delilah!

Male pattern baldness manifests itself as a gradual falling out of the hair, forming a horseshoe shape around the back of the head from what is left. This hair loss commonly leaves a shiny, circular, hairless dome on the top of a man's head. Some men ignore it, some cove it up, still more try every product under the sun to regrow it, and the rest just say, "To heck with it!" and shave all that remains.
