Should kids be allowed to bring Cell Phones to School?

    http://gatorball.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 13/ should-kids-be-allowed-to-bring-ce…

It’s a real debate among students, teachers, administrators, and many parents.   Some say YES! What if there’s an emergency? A child could easily use one of the office phones, but still! What if the student forgot that he/she had an after-school program to attend, and the offices were closed or the phone was occupied? Most students have trouble contacting their parent(s).

The Inner Workings of Magazine Publishing

    http://www.kzyo.com/ ?p=2110

What is the working protocol of journalism especially for magazines? Also what is the role of editor-in-chief in a magazine and the working hierarchy in a magazine… who reports to whom? Also how much should the editor-in-chief allow the owners/publishers/directors of the media company to interfere in the editorial content?

So, after all of this hoopla about me “stepping back” and getting out of the way of production, it has been a fairly smooth transition. Thanks go to both Event Seek’s and Hashrocket’s teams, but mostly to the respective production managers, Tristan and Rein.

    The Four Me Managers

    http://www.RETAILCONTRARIAN.COM/ 2008/ 04/ the-four-me-man.html

In working with retail managers I've observed four different styles of management. The first is the "Like Me" approach. This person manages by being one of the gang. They try to get everyone on the team to like them so the employees will want to achieve their goals for the manager.

    Hitting our stride

    http://blog.event-seek.com/ 2008/ 04/ hitting-our-stride/

After a lovely weekend in Charlottesville, Va at the Foxfield races, we’re back to work in Atlanta. Starting the third week of full-scale production, our team is really beginning to hit its stride. We’ve worked out a few of the kinks associated with working in different locations and having the development team split between Atlanta and Jacksonville.
