manifesting

Manifesting describes a process of transmuting energy into matter using thought. The popular term is "creating your own reality."

A thought is intentionally directed to the subconscious mind, which is our part in the Infinite or cosmic intelligence (what some call God), just as a drop of water is part of the ocean. Hypnosis has shown that the subconscious mind thinks only deductively, and will accept any premise given it as true and bring the thought into physical reality.

Thomas Troward wrote, "...the action of Mind plants that nucleus which, if allowed to grow undisturbed, will eventually attract to itself all the conditions necessary for its manifestation in outward visible form."

One does not create objects so much as states of being. So one doesn't attempt to create money but to envision a wealthy lifestyle. How wealth is attracted is the purview of the Infinite. Intuition plays a key role in manifesting reality.

Whether you believe in manifesting or not, you'll find numerous blogs teaching it, selling it, and lambasting it.
