Fun Photo Fridays: Mark Condell & Liana Frey Enjoying the Fun at Big Fish During WOMM-U

    http://www.searchmarketinggurus.com/ search_marketing_gurus/ 2008/ 05/ fun-photo…

I am a few days late with the weekly picture, life it seems, gets the better of me and time just slips by. However, I do have a picture this week and it features some brand new friends I met at WOMM-U. In fact, one of my new friends has the exact same spelling as my first name - which, trust me, is rare! It was one of my goals to meet Liana Frey of Dell, when I went to WOMM-U.

There have been quite a few people drawing a cat this week! Jeanette Jobson (Illustrated Life) and Rose Welty (Rose's Art Lines) have banded together to participate in a virtual sketch date each week. The idea is to have fun but also to see how each person responds to working from the same photograph.

Maureen Groppe, writing for the Indianapolis Star, puts some numbers to a subject I was talking about a few days ago - the chances for Democrats to pick up more seats in Indiana in light of the Democratic victory in a blood red district in Mississippi. Sunday Brunch: Zucchini Frittata with Blue Cheese

    http://www.seriouseats.com/ recipes/ 2008/ 05/ sunday_brunch_zucchini_frittata_w…

The blue cheese adds the tang and the creaminess that elevate this Mark Peel and Nancy Silverton recipe to morning greatness, which I've adapted from one of my favorite brunch cookbooks, At Home: Two Chefs Cook for Family & Friends. It's worth it to use a high-quality artisanal domestic blue cheese in this recipe.
