Napoleon Hill, the author of the best-selling book “Think and Grow Rich” once glibly stated, “Action is the real measure of intelligence.” And this may indeed be true. But there are also other, more technical measures of intelligence, too. Like the ACT and SAT tests, standardized tests, and general schooling.

So what is the best way to measure something? Well, that is probably a question for the ages. But as measurement technology gets better and better, measurements become more precise and exact.

There is a wide product range when it comes to measurement tools. Everything from a standard school ruler used to create a straight line in math class to a processor controlled frequency measuring converter used at an international company — there are many, many instruments that help us measure things.

How much water your home uses, how much electricity a building consumes, how much gas is utilized on a specific project, etc. How much money is being spent every month, what that money is being spent on, and the value these purchases are bringing to a home are all items that must be measured. How they are measured all depends on what the person wants to know about a specific item.
