mice

Tag details

Mice are very small mammals that belong to the rodent family. They live in homes, businesses, open fields and near agricultural lands. Cold weather brings them into human structures in search of food and shelter. They will eat a variety of things but prefer grains and seeds. They tend to sample their food before moving on to a different food source.

Despite their pest-status, mice have made their way in the main stream, often in the form of beloved cartoon stars like Mickey Mouse or Speedy Gonzales. Even so, most people are eager to rid their homes of these movie star look-a-likes.

It can be difficult to eradicate a mouse infestation. Since they are so small, mice can fit through cracks and crevices as small as a fourth of an inch big, which makes sealing your home an important step. Using bait stations and traps are popular methods of mouse control.
