movie reviews

Tag details

Most people love to talk about movies they've seen, even if it's to just give a thumbs-up or thumbs-down. That makes movie reviews a popular tag.

Movie reviews refers to analysis of or commentary on particular movies. Some sites compile reviews from a variety of sources, others ask readers for reviews and other sites use individual reviews. The tag may have broad usage, encompassing not only movies currently in theaters but also ones that are released on DVD. It will also cover the full spectrum of movies, from dramas to comedies to documentaries.

While one might consider being a movie reviewer one of the greatest jobs around, the quality of movie reviews depends on knowledge of film as a whole or the subject matter of a particular movie.

  • In Memorium (2005) Movie Review

BeyondHollywood.com | Movie News, Reviews, and OpinionsAuthority Authority: 517
Writer/director Amanda Gusack’s dramatic 2005 supernatural outing “In Memorium” has the unfortunate distinction of being mentioned in the same breathe as Oren Peli’s grossly overhyped indie hit “Paranormal Activity,” a fact which thrills her to no end, I’m sure. Truthfully, there are very few ...

It sounds like there’s been a lot kitchen hands, if not exactly chefs, stirring ingredients into Iron Man 2 . The first named screenwriter was Justin Theroux , the actor and famously a co-writer of Tropic Thunder ; there’s also the Marvel brain trust made up of some of their brightest and best comic book ...

For me, that’s the best part about reading a Dan Brown novel, is learning trivial bits of information on places and history. Talk of an Inglourious Basterds prequel is nothing new. Word was that the next film would be about a ...

I n most years, “(500) Days of Summer” would be a light, genre-breaking delight, and nothing more. This year, that’s probably enough to earn the film some Oscar talk.
