    PPC Update

    http://seoker.com/ 2008/ 10/ 06/ ppc-update/

Well,, the numbers are in for the day. I spent roughly $195.00 on MSN Adcenter (search) today. In return I made $168.00 in revenue – which leaves me with a $27.00 loss for the day. That’s the bad news. The good news is that I found the same offer I was promoting at a different affiliate network (Marketleverage) with a significant higher payout rate.

Google AdWords, MSN adCenter Differences In Analytics

    http://payperclickjournal.com/ google-adwords-msn-adcenter-differences-in-analyt…

One of the reasons I prefer Google AdWords pay per click over MSN adCenter is the analytics package. With MSN adCenter, you are required to insert code onto your landing page that causes a link to appear on your pages. The link is the MSN adCenter privacy policy and the link allows your site visitors to read the privacy policy at a glance.

I'm speaking at a seminar at Fox Williams tomorrow, partly covering the subject of tracking techniques in online advertising. So I had a quick look at the Demographics Prediction tool at Microsoft adCenter labs.  This experimental tool predicts a user's age and gender from online behaviour, including the search terms they use.

Which PPC Provider Should You Use?

    http://payperclickjournal.com/ which-ppc-provider-should-you-use/ 09/ 21/ 2008/

From time to time someone will ask, “Which pay per click advertising company should I use.” The answer is pretty simple, but it is as straightforward as saying, “Well, you should use XYZ.” For the most part, I think everyone should consider starting with Google AdWords simply because that’s where you’ll find the lion’s share of searchers.
