    http://www.mactropolis.com/ rumors/ updated-macbook-pro-pics-and-pricing-details…

On the brink of the Apple MacBook Event, more images have come out from a source named ‘JR’. The folks over at Engadget have posted 2 new images of the MBP, as you can see below. Apparently the refreshes will include two full-on NVIDIA GPUs inside the new laptops, which would be pretty crazy if you ask me.

    8800 GTX and PSU Question

    http://www.overclock.net/ nvidia/ 397879-8800-gtx-psu-question.html

I'm looking at getting the 8800 GTX, but I'm not sure if it'll run with my PSU. This card requires 2 six pin power connectors, while my PSU only has one. Is it possible to use a 4 to 6 pin adapter on this card or does it have to be a six pin straight out of the PSU?

Here’s the latest action: Amazon is like Apple, eBay is like Microsoft — Or at least that’s the tech-industry analogy that comes to mind when reading this piece about the increasingly competitive battle between the two e-commerce giants.

    http://www.jgadgets.com/ 2008/ 10/ 13/ wimax-ready-laptop-by-asus

The ASUS M50Vm-A1WM sports a WiMAX-ready connectivity and a bunch of specs worthy of it being called a desktop replacement model. For starters, the ASUS M50Vm-A1WM seems to have a very long model number, worthy of being used as my alphanumeric password. It is actually a variant of the ASUS M50Vm.

    Linux Kernel 2.6.27 Blocker

    http://willysr.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 10/ linux-kernel-2627-blocker.html

I wanted to test the Linux Kernel 2.6.27, but i have a blocker which makes me postpone it. It was NVidia's driver. As you probably know, NVidia hasn't merge their source code for their proprietary driver on the kernel main repository. Every new kernel gets released (not an update), they have to patch their code to work with the new kernel.
