nablopomo
NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month) was started in November 2006 by Eden Kennedy of Fussy. Formed as an offshoot of NaNoWriMo, (National Novel Writing Month), it is largely responsible for overflowing feed readers in November. The challenge is stated simply as Post every day for the month of November. That's all you have to do.
In 2007, Eden moved the program to a Ning Network. Numerous bloggers and companies donate prizes for the end of the month random prize drawings for those who complete the challenge. In March of 2008, the project went to a monthly format, with a topic sent out at the beginning of each month.

My grandmother would have been 82 today (well, technically yesterday now that weve crept past midnight). She died when she was 68. It was terrible. We were close. I adored her. -- People say I look like her. That thrills me, because she was beautiful. I went to Ireland to visit family friends when I was 19. I got off ...9 hours ago -

Today, had you been wondering down the street in a Northeastern Melbourne suburb, you may have seen a young man and woman arms wrapped around each other come stopped in the middle the street. You may have seen the young woman look up at the young man and say "we doing this." With a nod of his head, you may (just ...10 hours ago -

Ugh. Day 21 of NaBloPoMo and Ive decided I have nothing to say. I have no updates, no news, no gripes, nothing. Of course I did nothing today and had very little human contact so that might have something to do with it. Sorry NaBloPoMo but today I just dont really want to play by the rules. I got nothing. . Click to enlarge . This was really more of an olive trunk, rather than a whole tree. In fact, Im not sure it was still growing at all. If I remember correctly it was now just a decorative piece in the garden, a semi-living sculpture if you will. To me this one looks like a figure with its arms ...10 hours ago -
