Death Cab for Cutie is a band that evokes emotions some didn’t even know they had.  They were my favorite band a few years ago due to the release of ‘Transatlantcism,’ which I listened to on repeat for weeks. Death cab has a song that can relate to pretty much every relationship I have ever been in.

I’ve been immersed in weaving bands that are going to be part of a memorial for a woman I adored- my late mother-in-law. She was an amazing and delightful woman who was a joy and one of the dearest friends and greatest influences in my life.

I’ve blogged several times about a small loom that I like a lot. It’s the Vesterheim Museum Cradle Loom.    I’ve received letters from people, saying that they couldn’t find the loom on the Vesterheim site. So, I wrote to the Vesterheim folks and asked if the loom had been discontinued.

Awhile back, I posted about being asked by the Memorial committee at our church if I’d be interested in weaving banners and runners in memory of my darling mother in law. It’s taken awhile to get all the details sorted and everything approved, but now things are on fast forward.
