Ahead of Apple's laptop event Tuesday, Engadget posts a blurry photo of what appears to be the rumored Apple MacBook Pro laptop.

Lantana Color is popping up in the Arizona landscape. On my recent visit in Phoenix, I happily greeted the yellows, oranges, purples, pinks - all bright and cheerful blossoms at the Desert Botanical Gardens.

Mom and I wandered about the farm Saturday on a quest for interesting things to photograph. Well, in truth our search focused primarily on black widow spiders. We know they inhabit the area and skulk about the various buildings and surrounding woods.

Inherent like the color of eyes, beauty hides tucked away in every scene, every small and large vista. Move slowly enough with eyes attentive and beauty of the mundane leaps out like caged beasts set free. On a single blade of grass dwell whole worlds made of rain. A windy day. Choppy water.

Exactly 10 days ago I photographed these trees although the light was not the best - still you could see what beautiful colours these maple trees were wearing. Today they are already nearly bare. It was such a short pleasure...
