There has recently been an upgraded version of the mobile solution Lotus Notes from CommonTime and supports all S60 third edition mobile phones. mSuite is similar to Mail for Exchange that allows enterprise users to access Lotus Notes bases tasks, contacts, email and calendar from a mobile phone, and includes the business dedicated Nokia E71, E61i and E90 Communicator, the N96 and new N85.

The 5800 XpressMusic may be delayed for some people, but apparently, the boys and girls at the FCC aren’t included in that flatly unlucky group. Nokia has passed a version of its first touchscreen S60 handset by the Fed’s watchful eyes, and all’s looking good except for one critical detail: this isn’t the HSDPA 850 / 1900 version.

Oh sure, LG has teased us with a faux wood cellphone, and Hulger has actually produced one that four people in existence can afford, but this… this is something else. According to the captions in textlad’s Flickr pool, Nokia’s own eco-team designed and created the object of desire that you see above: an 8-megapixel “handset” that appears to function just fine.

The N810 WiMAX Edition goes live for $493. Hit up Nokia’s web store for a chance to purchase the latest in the internet tablet series - the N810 WiMAX edition. At $493, it’s a cool $55 more than the original N810 tablet, and apparently it’s also only available in the USA.

Nokia’s ‘Somebody Else’s Phone’ website is now live for Jade, Lucas and Anna.  The website is part of Nokia’s big Monday announcement which will let you follow any of the three phones to read their messages, check contacts, calendar, music and most importantly see the features.

With the green movement gaining momentum with manufacturers worldwide, somebody has come up with this wooden Nokia concept handset, using sustainably harvested wood no less to minimize the impact on the environment. This eco-friendly concept comes with an 8 megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in speaker and runs on the Symbian S60 Operating System.

I received notice that Nokia’s web site called Somebody Else’s Phone was already live today, so I decided to check it out and give it a few minutes of quality time. I sat through the long loading times for the phones of all three “somebody’s” up there, and now here are my thoughts.

Most of us don’t like touchscreens because of their lack of tactile feedback and this Nokia concept tries to fix this issue with a small pump, that fills the buttons with a liquid, so the user can feel it. Actually, this might be a great idea, but currently we probably don’t have the necessary technology to do that, so the concept will remain a concept for a long time or even forever.

WIRELESS LG Electronics has introduced its second Prada-branded handset that features one key difference with the original version: an ultrathin QWERTY keyboard that easily slides out from under the handset that — along with more on-screen buttons — makes it easier to use the phone, the company says.
