    Today marks the announcement and release of Brightcove’s Platform 3, the latest release of their online video distribution service. They’ve rebuilt the service completely and comes with the promise to “empower website producers to be successful in the era of pervasive video.” They do look like they’ve got a bunch of interesting and usful new features.

    Joost, earlier today, debuted their Flash, web-only attempt this morning. This comes hot on the tails of the news that CBS, an investor in Joost, will begin releasing full length shows on the Google-owned video sharing network.  The launch comes five days ahead of schedule, according to Gubatron this morning.

    It wasn’t too long ago that I shared about a website that lets you look up information about a phone number that keeps calling you but won’t leave a message, that site’s name was WhoCallsMe. Finding another website that shares some of the same and different information was pretty helpful when maybe you can’t find information about one number on just one of the websites.

      I first heard about the myCauseTV website from one of the people I follow on twitter. It’s a pretty interesting website in that they use the continually expanding and ubiquitous YouTube site to allow people to share videos with the public about their personal cause and desires to change and improve the world around them.
