  One of the powerful tools in online “email” marketing is to build an opt-in mailing list. An opt-in mailing list is a database of peoples’ names and email addresses that have subscribed to an email list via a web form giving that list owner permission to send them periodic emails on the topic they are interested in.

Q:  When you use the tell-a-friend and you put it in on your page as with the name and the email, does that go into your database and then the message gets sent from you or does that just go out to the internet and it gets sent out to people and it is up for them to respond? Typically how a tell-a-friend script works is this.

Q: When building an opt-in page for a teleseminar can you put any other info regarding the topics and calling information on that initial question opt-in page or do we wait until they type in their name and email address and then put the call and information and the topics that will cover on the thank you page?

Q:  How to you capture people’s information that are watching TV?
